No longer cool?

Along with the entire Saunier Duval team…not really a surprise. He did want to be the next Pantani. Well on your way son!
We were laughing about Riccò on the Tuff Guy ride last Tuesday wondering when he would get popped. Seems like the dope controls are working, the dopes are being shown the door.
The bad:
Kim Kirchen - Fun while it lasted.
Damiano Cunego - Not quite there today.
Alejandro Valverde - Who ever said you were a grand tour contender anyway?
Andy Schleck - No GC for you.
The good:
Frank Schleck - Took advantage of the hard working CSC squad today to haul himself up a few spots in GC.
Juan Jose Cobo Acebo - Now top 10 in GC.
Riccardo Riccò - Climber’s jersey and young rider’s jersey. The new Pantani? Or better?
Bernhard Kohl - If only his team mate had not knocked him down a few days ago.
The golden:
Cadel Evans - Big time come back from his big time crash yesterday.
Christian Vande Velde - Amazing work to stay with the contenders today. Will VdV have a bad day? Hope not! Garmin is really getting their monies worth out of their Slipsteam sponsorship.
Pool is updated. Alex Atherton and Savage Soigner put 5 points on the board with their pick of Cadel Evans to wear the Yellow Jersey on the July 15 rest day.
Another former member of the US Postal Service Cycling Team, and Lance Armstrong lieutenant, tests positive.
How many is that now? All of them?
Liquigas looks the be the first team to be shown the door in the 2008 Tour de France.
If you happen to be stuck at work with no TdF video you can listen for free here.
I noticed that the most recent version of this VS. ad has replaced the end shots of David Millar with more shots of Vino.
I wonder if someone complained?
The first time I saw the ad I did not think that it made sense to use Millar. He served his time and the images they were using were post suspension.
Someone must have thought the same thing.
Big winners after today’s short 29.5km time trial:
Stefan Schumacher, holy crap dude.
Cadel Evans, put some time into his rivals. This will be valuable when they attack him and he only follows the wheels.
Denis Menchov, stayed up there and in contention.
Christian Vande Velde, nice job.
Not as good as expected:
Damiano Cunego, lost a minute to Evans.
Andy Schleck, will need to do better in the mountains.
Disappointing:
Alejandro Valverde, did not do himself many favors today.
Frank Schleck, not good enough.
Yaroslav Popovych, uhhhh…maybe he is just riding support for Evans?
Riccardo Riccò, waiting to light it up in the high stuff? I hope?
