i plan to.. it just seems you’re punishing the guys who made the effort at the last event. making it $15 across the board seems more effective in drawing more racers.. or maybe $20 for first race, 15 for your second 10 for your 3rd race.. reward participation! but i am looking forward to it..

I think you have a good idea rewarding partcipation.

The thinking is that the “a” race already had a nice competitive field, while the “b” race only contained 5 racers. We need more B’s in order to have a chance of breaking even. I don’t think reducing price will bring more A’s while it may entice more B’s to try it.

Nonetheless, you make some valid points. We are also trying to reduce some costs as well as we try this, we just ask for some paitence and participation.

How can we get more people to show on a Friday at 11pm?

@timmer: Once this venture actually breaks even I would be happy to lower the entry fee for all. So far I’m personally out $150 after night one.

If you would be willing to share the financial risk with this endeavor I would be more than happy to change the fee to the structure that you propose. Let me know if you are interested.

yep, next round.. me hwood and kristy.. plus whomever.. but i just don’t see a lower fee for lower catz as an incentive.. and is dicouraging to higher catz expecially if there is no additional benefit to those paying a higher fee. but you guys are running the show!
