Some don’t understand the difference between global climate change and the current weather.

    Yeah, no kidding. It’s infuriating.

    I think a big part of the problem is that Global Warming is a bit of a misnomer. The implication is that “OMG the whole planet’s going to become a desert”…which might be true if the whole planet were a homogeneous prairie…

    A better name would be “Increased Energy Retention” — which is really what’s happening and can be used to explain the weird weather.

    or

    Dude, we’re fucked.

    Regardless of what we call it, if we keep going the way we’re going we’re all dead in 5 days or 10yrs or something like that. it’s bad though, i know that for sure.
