Some course explanation for you:

Southwest Trail: Moderate pace, no rotation, watch for traffic, cross roads as a group

Minnetonka Mills/Shady Oak/Inverness Roads: Same as above

Minnetonka Drive: Nature break

McGinty Road: Wind up and sprint at Wayzata City Limit sign, watch for cars.

Wayzata: Easy through town, stop at signs or risk a ticket from hyper-active cops.

Ferndale/6th Ave/Hunter Dr: Speed increases, some rotation. Make left turns onto 6th and Co Rd 24 as a group

Co Rd 24: Rotation at full speed. Sprint for the STOP AHEAD sign before Co Rd 19.

Co Rd 19/Hamel Rd/Parkview Dr: Slight regroup for those in sight on climb to the top of the hill on Co Rd 19. Rotation again on Hamel Rd until the bump. Wind up and sprint at the end of Parkview Drive.

Co Rd 24 to Homestead Trail: Slight regroup for those in sight until left turn on Homestead Trail. Sprint to the top of the hill on Homestead Trail before 6th Ave.

6th Ave: Rotation at full speed.

Spring Hill/E Long Lake Rd: Anything goes to the bump before Old Long Lake Road.

Wayzata Blvd/Wayzata/McGinty Rd: General end of hostilities, moderate pace with some hard charges to the end of McGinty Road.

Moderate run in to the finish at Calhoun Village backtracking previously used route.

    i’ll be making it a habit after Opie ends. that rotation is fun stuff. i love cranking it up.
