Thursday, January 29th, 2009Got off the plane in Amsterdam Netherlands with no signal on my iPhone. Damn that kind of stuff really burns my muffins. I finally had to phone AT&T and ask them WTF before they finally registered my phone to work in Europe.
Took the Euro-liberal choo choo from Amsterdam to Antwerp Belgium. Had to change trains in Roosendaal for some reason.
I am using Fring on the iPhone to place Skype calls back to the USA using the hotel wireless internet for pennies per minute compared with $1.29 per minute that I would be paying using the mobile phone network. The sound is great.
Went out to dinner to one of the two Mexican restaurants here in Antwerp Belgium. The food was fully in the OK category. I had what I know was beans and what I think was chicken…or kitten.
Said hello to the guys at Lazer helmets this afternoon.
Tomorrow I might go say hello to the guys at Vermarc.
I still have to unpack all my munched stuff out of my suitcase.
Other than 3 hours on the plane today I have been awake for about 33 hours and don’t really feel that bad. But it’s time to go to sleep.
