Minneapolis wireless

November 24th, 2008 | Posted by Smithers at 12:12 pm in Electronical |

I am using DSL fed WiFi here at the vacation location.

It’s shown me how horribly lame the telephone pole fed WiFi that I have been using at home.

So I guess it’s back to Comcast.

Unless you’re a gamer. Cable latency is no fun.

Yep, it’s a mobility alternative/dialup replacement. You may as well see what ipHouse can provision up for you, even if it *is* DSL from Qwest.

There is no Heaven, little Jimmie. There is, however, a Hell. It’s called Comcast.

Cable is one thing that should be market based, but there is no competition, so they can charge whatever they want. Open it up and you would see lower prices and better service. Comcast has been pretty good, but I am in the middle of an outage that comes and goes at will. Gotta send this quick…..

Good post, I like your writing style! I’ve added http://smithersmpls.com/ to my feed reader, and will be reading your posts from now on. Just a quick question - did you design your header image yourself, or have it done professionally? If you had it done by a professional, who was it?
