You should try to get inside the metrodome. That way you could ride through the bleachers.

I went to a supercross in the detroit silverdome once where they built dirt jumps into the stands. Pretty cool for a flat out redneck affair.

I also went to a monster truck show in the silverdome.

I had no intention of using a flyover. There wouldn’t be any more mayhem and chaos then the 2000 Tracy and Gary Pre-Nuptial Cross and Croquet Tournament.

@skibby: absolutely, thanks to Tainter for certain. However, this project is in no way yet a done deal. In regards to track bikes, from what I have seen and was told today, fixed gear bikes may be an even larger problem on the turf than geared bikes. A critical element to having races on the turf may be being able to change up the course for every race, something that would be impossible with an oval loop.
