it’s not her fault

It’s just dawned on me, she doesn’t know.

I can’t hold Sarah Palin responsible for this. It would be hard to say "no" when someone asks you to be his Vice President.

Really, this whole thing should be hung around John McCain’s neck. It is the very height of irresponsibility for him to put Palin in this situation. McCain’s poor judgment should be a serious issue for anyone considering voting for him next month. Palin is the clear evidence of this.

If McCain really believed in "Country First" he would replace her on the ticket. But if he really believed he would have never chosen her in the first place.

I agree. At this point Palin-bashing is starting to backfire.

Slate’s Emily Bazelon has in interesting take on the blame-Palin-or-not question here: http://www.slate.com/id/2201330/
In her column, she asks if it’s not a kind of sexism to blame McCain and let Palin off the hook — you know, the man is the puppeteer, and she’s just the, er, puppet. Mostly, she (Bazelon) does a nice job of highlighting the reactions Palin elicits from intelligent women across the political spectrum.

    Smell the Glove.

Pallin accepted the job and shouldn’t be let off the hook.
She’s out there making up lies
She’s out there attacking her opponents
She’s out there as proven by her interviews with Couric and Gibson
She’s unacceptable on so many levels for this position and should be held accountable.
Don’t feel sorry for her, it’s a trap

Ok. What walks, flys, and quacks like a duck is a generally a duck. Sara Palin is ignorant, dumb, permanently confused and/or just plain stupid–take your pick. Hope you dont thinkmy observation is sexist but stupidity does not recognize boundaries. I mean there was a recent supreme court case that limited the damages paid by Exxon in the Valdez oil spill. She didnt remember this or wasnt aware of it? She couldnt think of the recent decision striking down the DC ban on firearms? Her constiutents are all gun nuts so wouldnt you think she would cite this as being relevant? The debate tonite is going to be a debacle.
