I don’t really understand how anyone still thinks that Palin is an asset to the McCain campaign.

    I’d been going with a pretty similar description, but I think Christopher Beam put it so much better:

    … in her latest face-to-face, with Katie Couric of CBS, she looked like a high-schooler trying to B.S. her way through a book report.
