Behind one of the businesses that I occasionally visit and across the street sits this trailer. Inside the trailer is a little dog owned by someone that works inside the nearby office building. Apparently the guy lives a long way from work. He can either bring the dog with him to work and leave him in this trailer all day or leave him at home all day. You can’t get anywhere near this trailer because the dog will go bat shit crazy. He only likes his owner I guess. So I ask you which is worse. Leaving a dog at home alone for 12 hours everyday or leaving him in this trailer outside all day? The whole thing is totally bizarre. I don’t even know what to think about this situation but it will trouble me for the remainder of my days.

Who’s the saddest pro cyclist in the peloton this morning?

CyclingNews.com:

"I spoke to Lance yesterday evening, and he confirmed that he wanted to make a comeback into professional cycling. I said to him, ‘there are a lot of things we have to talk about. If you are a professional cyclist I can’t imagine you would make a comeback with any other team.’ … I don’t know if Lance can come back at the highest level. He has been training and keeping in shape, it is different than riding at the highest professional level," said Bruyneel Tuesday morning.

Levi Leipheimer.

Your useless "liberal" media…

Kevin Drum:

John McCain has obviously decided that he can’t win a straight-up fight, so he’s decided instead to wage a battle of character assassination, relentless lies, and culture war armageddon. So what happens on November 5th?

If McCain wins, he’ll face a Democratic congress that’s beyond furious. Losing is one thing, but after eight years of George Bush and Karl Rove, losing a vicious campaign like this one will cause Dems to go berserk. They won’t even return McCain’s phone calls, let alone work with him on legislation. It’ll be four years of all-out war.

And what if Obama wins? The last time a Democrat won after a resurgence of the culture war right, we got eight years of madness, climaxing in an impeachment spectacle unlike anything we’d seen in a century. If it happens again, with the lunatic brigade newly empowered and shrieking for blood, Obama will be another Clinton and we’ll be in for another eight years of near psychotic dementia.

Great.

Joe Biden said:

“We will have diverted all that money to address the least likely threat while the real threats come into this country in the hold of a ship, or the belly of a plane, or are smuggled into a city in the middle of the night in a vial in a backpack.”

Sarah Palin was:

Mayor of Jerkwater, USA

In a national emergency, such as September 11 2001, the President may be out of the White House and the Vice President may be in the best position to make a judgment call as to what is best for the country.

Who do you trust more as the number two excutive of our country?
