What I like, part one.

I don’t like (dis).

But I do like Starbucks Coffee Bold Espresso Roast ESE Pods!

I have tried both medium and dark illy pods but Starbucks has the best flavor.

do they make those pods without so much unnecessary packaging. the ones on teh webs seem like each pod is individually wrapped. i suppose though…

Yes, but I don’t hang out at the Spankatorium.

    individually wrapped

Starbucks are all individually wrapped for freshness. illy sells them in bulk without the wrapping.

I like most people. I do not like Starbuck’s Pike Place roast, but I’d still take that over pod coffee.

Nothing really. It’s just very Euro. I infer this based solely on the fact that pods is all some friends in Germany had for coffee when visiting them last summer. Hence, it applies to all of Europe. That said, being “Euro” (a fan of things European) is synonymous with hating all things American, like instant Foldgers Crystals. This, in turn, simply means that you hate the American working family and (duh) must be a liberal. And we all know that being a Liberal is pretty much the same thing as being Satan incarnate.

So if you don’t think there’s anything wrong with being Satan incarnate then, yea sure, there’s nothing wrong with pod coffee.

in the case of my 2 cents… I’m a purist and like to grind it myself, load of the machine, etc. Kinda like elaborate drug paraphernalia.

But that being said the pod coffee you served me was tasty and hit the spot.

So.. do I have to sell you my whole soul to get a fully built Time bike, or can I just sell part of it. :-)

I am sure your soul is worth enough that you would only need to sell a portion of it.

I never knew Starbucks made those pod deals.

I am a coffee nut (no pun intended) and I don’t think it makes a bit of difference whether you grind your own beans or keep them in the freezer (I do) or not.

    I’ve tried it all.

My experience is if they are good beans, roasted the way you like and you use good water and keep them pretty well sealed up (pre-ground or not), you have good coffee.

What really sucks is that Caribou stopped selling their version of P-Loafy.

Don’t put your coffee in the freezer. It goes there to die.

My wife was manager of the Espresso Royale Cafe across the street from the Michigan State physics building in East Lansing when I met her. (That’s how we met.)

She knows much more about coffee than me, but I know that much.

    P-Loafy! How I miss thee.

    Can’t eat that junk anymore…
