Feels better today. I can open and close without too much pain. Maybe I pulled a tendon during the Madisons Thursday night.

On behalf of all of your readers, as much as we enjoy the pictoral saga of your sore knuckle, I think we can all breathe a sigh of relief that you are not having problems with your “seat” if you know what I mean.

You might want to start watching House — he might have an episode that covers this and it would save you on the co-pay.

Nothing to blog here — None of us are experts.

first knuckle as in closest to your finger’s end or the ones you’d use to punch people with?

either way, there is this possibility: there are coiled bands that keep your tendons “attached” to your finger bones; sort of like when you lash a splint to a busted leg with rope or cloth or whatever. Too much pull-stress on the tendons and these bands can either tear or get pulled funny. It’s somewhat common among climbers.

    It was the punch knuckle.

It’s almost totally back to normal today so I assume that I just pulled it funny in one of the Madisons last Thursday.
