The Great Corporate (and Silent to their own complicity) News Media. Brian, Katie, Charlie and their ilk need to either acknowledge their network corporation’s failures or face the dismissal of their national audience. As messengers, they are accountable as well. Even Scotty grew a conscience, even if it was spawned to sell his book.

Ya know, though I am one who believes that journalists have been remiss on any number of issues (as a conservative, my list may differ from yours), I don’t know that cussing someone out is going to make a difference. What makes a difference is standing up to the plate and showing the lazy media how it’s done.

Like them or not, Fox is getting attention in part due to covering things that CNN and NBC are not. (and also by raising hemlines, of course) So are any number of other sources like Townhall, WorldNetDaily, and any number of others. They’re demonstrating that one wins the battle of ideas, not the battle of Anglo-Saxon verbiage.

I would disagree with the Pres fearing Gregory the most. I believe Helen Thomas has done a better job (both in asking tough questions and openly giving her opinion about the current president) and has been outright dissed for it. By both right wing pundits and in how whe is treated by the White House.

Please define “suck” for me. Have you ever seen the exchanges he had with Bush? If you asked Bush I bet he would say that Gregory is the one reporter he fears the most.

Did you want one journalist to stop the war? Isn’t that the responsibility of our other elected officials in Congress? They suck! They should have fought more!
