Idiotic

Sunday, April 20th, 2008

FOX:

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice mocked anti-American cleric Muqtada al-Sadr as a coward on Sunday, hours after the radical leader threatened to declare war unless U.S. and Iraqi forces end a military crackdown on his followers.

"I know he’s sitting in Iran," Rice said dismissively, when asked about al-Sadr’s latest threat to lift a self-imposed cease-fire with government and U.S. forces. "I guess it’s all-out war for anybody but him," Rice said. "I guess that’s the message; his followers can go too their deaths and he’s in Iran."

That is, "all out war for anybody but him"…and you Condi Rice…and your boss. It amazes me that you all can be so caviler with the lives of the American soldiers that you put on the line with your bluster.

It’s "Bring it on" for a new generation. Once again the Bush Administration learns nothing from their previous mistakes.

Dems and Reps

Sunday, April 20th, 2008

I read some arguments against voting for a Democrat for President. Some comparisons between the two parties:

- Democrats are a bunch of global warming cultists.

And Republicans all believe that the Earth is only 5000 years old and that Adam and Eve rode dinosaurs around the Garden of Eden.

- Democrats are going to ruin the economy.

Correct me if I am wrong, but haven’t we had a Republican in the White House for 8 years and the economy is in the dumper?

- Democrats are soft on terrorism.

That must be why Al-Qaeda are back to full strength in Afghanistan and the government that the Bush Administration is supporting in Iraq is allied with Iran.

- Democrats will expand the size of government with more unnecessary programs and benefits.

Like No Child Left Behind and the Medicare Prescription Drug Program?

- Democrats will take away your personal rights and privacy.

Like the right not to be arrested and held without charge or trial indefinitely? Or the privacy of your phone calls?

- Democrats are elitists and can’t relate to normal Americans.

That’s a joke, right?

OK, so I think we can all agree that both parties have their own foibles and that four more years of a Republican administration would be a complete and utter disaster as well as the total end of this country.
