Starts tomorrow.
I’m nervous. But I have done a bit of training and I’ll have my outfit all set for tomorrow afternoon so I won’t be a in a panic to get ready. I’ll eat a good dinner tonight and go to bed early to be ready for the big work out.
Maybe I’ll do a short test effort the night before to make sure that I am ready.
I may not be where I am supposed to be during the whole ride, but I will get there eventually. I’ll just take things slow and sure and make sure that I am comfortable physically and mentally. If I get scared I will stop for a minute and breath deep to relax.
I’ll wear my helmet and gloves for safety.
I’ll stop half way through and use the toilet and eat an energy bar. Maybe I’ll call for a ride home if I get lost. My GPS unit should help out.
I used this exact same routine the first time I had sex and it all worked out just fine. Good thing I had that quarter handy.

UPDATE 8:55am: False alarm, they were just trimming the tree back from the power lines. Whew!

Vice President Dick Cheney interviewed on the Sean Hannity show, April 10 2008:
For us to walk away from Iraq I think would have at least that bad an effect, probably worse, because if al Qaeda were to take over big parts of Iraq, among other things, they would acquire control of a significant oil resource. Iraq has almost 100 billion barrel reserves, producing 2.5-3 million barrels of oil a day. If you take a terrorist organization like al Qaeda and give it that kind of revenue, there’s no telling the amount of trouble they could get into.
This is unbelievably stupid. So stupid in fact that I am not even going to comment on it other than to say that if you don’t understand how stupid it really is then you don’t understand what is going on in Iraq and you should just disqualify yourself from all future comment on the matter.
