Paris-Roubaix wrap up

April 13th, 2008 | Posted by Smithers at 3:14 pm in Mobile Post |

Not very interesting weather. Not a very interesting final sprint. Exciting if you were a Boonen fan but Ballan and Can-Can looked to be pretty blown. This race will cement Boonen’s rep but the Slipstream team has to be overjoyed with their 4th place finish. ASO has to be pretty happy with their decision to invite them to the Tour this year.

Is pro cycling that much of a bush league sport that a big race like this is tape delayed by a week? How many f-ing fishing shows and Texas hold-em tournaments can you show?

cycling.tv baby! watched everything from Arenberg on this morning with minimal hiccups. The video quality gets better and better every year.

Watching the race on the 42inch screen was almost like being in a theater. Now, you should go ride your bicycle. I have a weight challenge to win by the start of the track season and you are looking a little tubby.

You’re talking about watching on the computer? You miss my point.
