The Daily Cult

Oprah really swings into gear this time of year.

I don’t know what went wrong in that woman’s life that makes her need to buy friends and fans, but it’s pretty pathetic.

A couple of years ago she hosted her “Legends Lunch” where she invited all the famous black women to her place for snacks. Singers, dancers, models, actresses, artists, play writes, poets, you name it. They were all there, it was a big deal. So they get together for a group picture and who puts herself front and center? Oprah. She needs to be the absolute focus.

That night she hosted a formal dinner where all guests were required to wear black and white. All except Oprah. She wore red. The center of attention.

I feel bad for Oprah. She obviously has self esteem and image problems. She should quit that teevee show and get some help.

h/t me ma!

Chairty is a great thing no matter what the reason behind it.

But to your point she did build and name a school in her name.

i’m still convinced she never actually ran the marathon she was purported to have run but rather did a Rosie Ruiz.

My monthly joke to my wife (which never gets old): Guess who’s on the cover of Oprah’s magazine this month?

I’m holding to the theory that the more she self promotes, the less the other rags will. So it may be a net gain.
