Who needs a free press when the Bush Administration can just have FEMA employees create a pretend press conference?
Robin Trower’s Daydream from 1980. And from 1975.
I have fond memories of this song. My parents bought Twice Removed from Yesterday when I was very young and I remember them playing that album, this song in particular, throughout my entire childhood.
That dude is still touring. Go see him if you have the chance.
The Tour de France is trying to kick the Americans out because of jealousy. I don’t believe Floyd Landis is guilty of anything.
Phil Liggett in his keynote speech at the U.S. Bicycling Hall of Fame induction ceremony last Saturday.
Congratulations Phil, that’s the stupidest thing I have ever heard of.
The fact that you would chalk the Flandis case up to simple French nationalism shows either a complete lack of understanding regarding the facts or a warped desire to have a room full of Americans cheer your name. Maybe both. I’m sure you would never pull a stunt like that in front of a European audience.
What little credibility you had has pretty much dried up and blown away so you can get back to being nothing more than a name dropper and ass kisser.
PS: You suck. David Duffield is one thousand times a better cycling broadcaster than you. Get the hell out of the way and let Paul Sherwin take over. He spends all his time correcting your idiotic mistakes anyway.

Ped put it best:
I am not one to celebrate days of a person death, because I would like to remember their life. But things changed so significantly on this day 5 years ago. In the end we lost his voice when we needed it the most.
The conscience of the Senate died that day. Our national debate would be significantly different if Paul Wellstone was still here. Democrats in particular could use his backbone these days.
In addition, Ped lost a friend and a former team mate.

William McLaughlin
Here’s to Paul and Will and all those lost near Eveleth that day. Minnesota lost a lot.

ScottERob wearing the greatest team kit of all time.
Have you noticed that when there is an article about this team it’s always referred to as the “new-look” Astana team?
New-look team Astana, no relationship to the old-look, total doper team Astana.
Government permission to travel?
The Transportation Security Administration and the Department of Homeland Security are quietly pushing for a set of crazy new rules. All travellers in the U.S. will be required to get government-issued credentials and official clearance before every flight, both within the United States as well as internationally.
Welcome to the Soviet Union courtesy of the Bush Administration.
