Disco never doped. Just cause Bruyneel's name sounds like Mike Neel and he rode for some of the big dope teams and always looked rattled on speed and was always riding off the road doesn't mean he dopes. He's probably just nervous. He says he is anti-dope and that's good enough for me.

It's all circumstantial evidence. Not one positive test.

Isn't that proof? Plus if you lie or bad mouth people Santa will know and write it down in his book and you won't get as many presents. Do you really want to risk it this close to Christmas?

And it's a whole new line up. They have a new manager, director and star riders. Plus Astana is gonna ride treks. It's the Kazaki-Wisconsin connection.

So stop being so cynical.

Going back to the substance of the question, I don't believe it matters whether you put quotation marks around the word "new", since it's quite implied to mean "brand new look, same old tricks" and everyone knows that.

How does hiring Bruyneel change Astana doping practices, aside from getting busted?

Fishy it may be, but it's hard to imagine a much different outcome. Bruyneel, Leipheimer, Contador, maybe Gusev... they're not just going to retire. Astana wasn't going to sign a bunch of unproven riders, and Disco's people need jobs.
