Cycling Official Bill Nicholson
Wednesday, September 19th, 2007Most of you who know Bill know him from the velodrome.
KSTP:
A bicyclist is in the hospital after he was hit by a car in southeast Minneapolis Monday night.
Now, police are asking for your help to find the driver.
Police found the victim around 10 p.m. Monday lying next to his bike at 12th Ave. SE and Como Ave. near the University of Minnesota’s Minneapolis campus.
The driver that hit the cyclist did not stop, police reported.
The victim, 47-year-old William Nicholson, suffered head injuries from the crash.
Nicholson was reportedly in satisfactory condition at a local hospital.
Anyone with any information is urged to call Minneapolis Police at 612-692-8477.
Best wishes to Bill for a healthy recovery. I hope they find the piece of crap that ran him down.
