Bike Biz:

Future Publishing of Bath has acquired the Australia-based international website Cyclingnews.com from Knapp Communications Pty Ltd.

Future recently bought the GPS-enabled Bikely.com to roll into its Bikeradar.com website.

Spinopsys continues:

The base will remain in Australia with Cyclingnews receiving a much needed make over. To say the site was a dogs breakfast is an understatement. This looks very promising for global cycling coverage.

I would agree that CyclingNews is in need of a new and modern look. The site had not changed much in the last 12 years. However, the benefit of the text driven pages was that it was easy to read and easy to navigate. I hope changes to the site do not make things more cumbersome.
