doldrums
June 11th, 2007 |When I race I want to race, when I don’t race I don’t really want to race.
Track racing was cancelled last Thursday due to scary wind, track racing this Thursday night is all Madison stuff for the Cat 1/2’s and I won’t be attending because:
a) Ped and I have not had the opportunity to do any Madison practice at all this year
b) He is going to be in Europe this week anyway
So that leaves the Radius race this Saturday. It does not look like rain is forecast for the weekend so I am optimistic about being able to get the race in. I just need to stay motivated to keep on the bike.
I went ok on the Urthel ride last week and we’ll see how it goes tomorrow night. A bunch of folk might head down to Dakota Tech for the start of the Tuesday night series down there, but I just can’t really get motivated to race on the road.
I suspect that I might be entering my summer doldrums when my motivation to ride start to suffer a bit.
