Are Saudi women less important than African blacks?
The Unites States, along with a number of other countries, boycotted South Africa during apartheid. Good for us.
Did you know that women in Saudi Arabia are banned from voting? Did you know that women in Saudi Arabia have to stand in a separate line at fast food restaurants? Once they get their order they then have to sit in a separate area of the restaurant. Did you know that they can not check into a hotel unless there is a letter from a man vouching for her ability to pay for the room? They can’t go out in public with wearing a black robe that covers them completely. They are not allowed to drive.
Why is there not a movement in this country with the same outrage against Saudi Arabia that was shown against South Africa during apartheid? Especially when you take into account the fact that so many of the 9/11 hijackers were Saudi, why is there such an apathetic attitude towards Saudi Arabia by citizens of this country?

I just got back from beautiful Dong Guang, China where I spent my evenings surfing the web. As you know China finds certain websites politically offensive for general public viewing and therefore does there population the service of blocking them. Google used to be on this list, but I had no problem with it this trip. The only site I couldn’t get too was your blog. I guess the boys in China are watching you. 1 billion people are missing out on the smithers blog.
This is a major human rights issue. I am phoning Condi Rice right now.
