April 19th, 2007 |The AG is getting absolutely creamed in his testimony before Congress this afternoon. Keep in mind that Gonzales has been Bush’s boy since he was governor of Texas.
The whole spectacle is a perfect example of the utter and complete incompetence of this administration. I mean, if you are going to play politics with every branch of the federal bureaucracy, can’t you at least play the politics well? These guys can’t even make good hacks. It’s an embarrassing window into the empty suit that has occupied the White House since January 2001.
Bring on 2008 and put the grown ups back in charge.
