Saturday, April 14th, 2007Bad weather today. Rain, wind and cool weather. It rained so much this morning that the women’s elite road race was cancelled due to mud slides on the roads.
The only traffic to our booth was those poor suckers in the expo area who were not dressed for the bad weather. No one was interested in talking about bike stuff so I left.
Cour10ay showed up after I left. She called me and did not sound too upset that the racing was cancelled for the day.

Saturday, April 14th, 2007Lots of stories around about breaking carbon road forks. Not good. I think some of these manufacturers are trying to go too light and the riders are paying the price for it.
Apparently there is a new fork standard in Europe for 2008 and a number of manufacturers are struggling to design a fork that meets this standard.
