Warm Climate Work Ethic
April 10th, 2007 |I don’t know what it is, but it’s obvious that people who live in a warm climate don’t have a lot of expectations in regards to customer service. Or, if they do have some expectations they must be constantly disapointed.
We reserved a truck from Budget Truck in Santa Barbara with the intent to pick it up at 5pm. We arrived at 4:45pm and we informed by the owner of the franchise that they don’t rent trucks after 3pm. When we complained about the fact that they never phoned us to let us know about this fact they said they can do what ever they want and cancelled our entire reservation. Nice.
“The customer is always right” must be a northern concept.
