I don’t know what it is, but it’s obvious that people who live in a warm climate don’t have a lot of expectations in regards to customer service. Or, if they do have some expectations they must be constantly disapointed.
We reserved a truck from Budget Truck in Santa Barbara with the intent to pick it up at 5pm. We arrived at 4:45pm and we informed by the owner of the franchise that they don’t rent trucks after 3pm. When we complained about the fact that they never phoned us to let us know about this fact they said they can do what ever they want and cancelled our entire reservation. Nice.
“The customer is always right” must be a northern concept.

Hey, is this some kind of joke?
Add former House Speaker Newt Gingrich to the list of former (and possibly future) politicians who are urging action to fight global warming. His forthcoming book, A Contract With the Earth, will present a 10 point plan of “market oriented” policies that will lead to a “bipartisan environmentalism.”
The book is due in November, around the same time Gingrich said he would decide about a possible presidential race.
I thought Global Warming was some kind of scam? WTF?
Ass gasket or not?
I can “go” either way but I know some people who refuse to use a public toilet without a barrier between their skin and the seat.

Should I see anything amazing I will be sure to keep you in the loop.
This whole issue is such utter and complete bullshit and it’s typical of a failed administration that is franticly flailing about looking for some way to break loose from their abysmal poll numbers.
Josh Marshall and Richard Holbrooke tell you what you need to know.
Don’t believe the hype.
