16 months: Cold Turkey
April 4th, 2007 |Baby Smithers is off the bottle as of yesterday. He is not stoked about it.
He uses a sippy cup everywhere else. School, grandma’s house, etc. But Mrs. Smithers and I have still been giving him the bottle at home because it calms him down so easily. But lately he has been walking around the house with an empty bottle hanging out of his mouth so it’s clear that he is getting a bit too pacified.
Time to man up, grow up and use a sippy cup just like his dad.
He has been letting us know, in no uncertain terms, that he wants the bottle back but we are hanging tough over here. It’s the first time he has come to the conclusion that mom and dad aren’t always awesome.
