Monday, March 19th, 2007FYI, I am not inclined to write about my job. You have probably noticed that I really don’t get into specific issues in regards to my employer. I am sure you understand and would be none too excited to have someone mention you by name along with your employer. At least you would if you had smarts.
That being said, I noticed that Tom Boonen had to abandon Paris-Nice and is seeing a chiropractor regarding some newly developed “issues” for 2007. What a shame.

This week
Monday, March 19th, 2007I’ll be spending time on the Gulf Coast this weekend enjoying warmish temps, spending time with my family and putting in huge miles on the velo.
You bike spanks are all going to be really sorry when I get back home. “The pain!”
In the mean time, we are going to do something a bit different with the blog this week. I did not have the time to flush out a guest blogger, so instead I am gong to leave it to you to suggest a topic for the next day’s reading. The best topic (in my opinion of course) wins.

• Inflation at 50%
• 84% of the population don’t have the income to provide for their basic needs
• 6.6 daily hours of power available in Baghdad
• 9000 refugees fleeing the country each month
• An all time high number of car bombs
• 2/3 of Iraqis say that conditions for peace and stability are worsening
Sounds bad.
At least we have the luxury in this country to not give a shit. Most of us are fully taking advantage of this opportunity.
