March 14th, 2007 |Some Muslims in the Twin Cities are adhering to a strict interpretation of the Qur’an that prohibits the handling of pork products.
Instead of swiping the items themselves, they are asking non-Muslim employees or shoppers to do it for them.

Look, this is not an anti-Muslim position for me. I don’t have any problem with the Muslim faith, or any faith, so long as it does not impact my daily life. But if your religious convictions are preventing you from getting your job done then go do something else.
Or Target should set up a “No Bacon” lane at checkout.
