Gutless Democrats
March 2nd, 2007 |Fox News poll: 46% (the majority of those asked) of Americans would vote to de-fund the war in order force a U.S. troop withdrawal from Iraq. The percentage of those who would continue to fund the war dropped 7 points from January to February.
I wish the Democrats would start acting as if they had the support of the American people, because they do.
Wisconsin Senator Russ Feingold feels the same way:
You know what? If the Democrats don’t use their power, when we’re in the majority in both houses, we’re going to start owning this war. It is George Bush’s war, but if we don’t get serious we’re going to start owning this war.
Redeploy. It’s what the people want.
