Time for a new feature on the site: Guess what movie?
Over the weekend I saw a fantastic film on Turner Classic Movies. It has to be a fantastic film otherwise it would not have been on Turner Classic Movies.
Quint and Han Solo had to go to Yugoslavia and blow up some shiz-nit. Agent Triple X (Anya Amasova) was the hottie. Apollo Creed went along on the mission in order to stab Jaws. It was totally crazy because I thought Quint would have been the one to go after Jaws. I also thought that with Apollo Creed and Jaws in the same scene we would have seen Happy Gilmore show up at any second.
Anyway, they blew up all the stuff and the bridge fell down and everyone lived happily ever after. I tell you what, any movie with both Han Solo and Apollo Creed gets 5 stars in my book.
Guess what movie I watched.
A spokeswoman for the Family Research Council (FRC) says young women should have to deal with the consequences of a rapidly spreading sexually transmitted disease rather then rely on a new vaccine.
The FRC’s Bridget Maher said her group believes over-reliance on the vaccine for the human papilloma virus (HPV) could send the wrong message to young women. “Abstinence is the best way to prevent HPV,” Maher told New Scientist. “Giving the HPV vaccine to young women could be potentially harmful because they may see it as a license to engage in premarital sex.”
Syphilis, gonorrhea, herpes, AIDS, HPV. How many additional sexually transmitted illnesses have to get worse because of your screwed up religious belief system?
