No, he’s not.

Tuffy lost his camera.

See that little eyelet on the left side of the front of the camera? That is where the handstrap is supposed to go. When you use the handstrap you don’t lose your camera.

If you find Tuffy’s camera use it to take a picture of something disgusting and then send him an e-mail so he can get his camera back. He’ll reward you with handsomeness.

Floyd Fairness Fund

Monday, January 8th, 2007

In October the Trust But Verify blog, a site devoted to commentary regarding the Floyd Landis doping allegations, stated in a post about Landis’ financial situation:

The key point is that as a TdF winner, he has a lot more clout, impact and credibility than Tyler had, in lots of ways. I’d be surprised to see him holding a bake sale. Some people have asked me about a defense fund, and I’ve heard no suggestions that he’s interested in having one formed.

Three months on and it’s time for that bake sale!

CyclingNews.com:

Floyd Landis is now soliciting donations to help him in his defense against doping charges, at the website www.floydfairnessfund.org. The fund, which is organized by Landis’ press advisor, Michael Hensen, says that it’s three-pronged mission is to “To support Floyd Landis against unsubstantiated doping allegations, to provide the means to attain fairness for Floyd, and to bring justice to those responsible for misconduct in the case.”

Step up suckers, step right up! Flandis got to pay dem bilz!

I wonder how many of those kind souls who contributed to Tyler Hamilton’s defense fund are feeling like they made a worthy investment. What happened to believetyler.org anyway? No believers left to pay for the domain name anymore? Tyler still appears to be ready to accept your cash however…

In other Flandis news, the December issue of Cycle Sport magazine has an interview CSC rider and Danish Pro Champion Allan Johansen who says “Floyd, don’t go away mad. Floyd, just go away.” Johansen, a staunch anti-doper, states that if Landis is innocent of the charges then it is a terrible tragedy, but that Landis should just retire and let the sport move on without him either way.

“Maybe he hasn’t done anything, but what effect would Landis being declared innocent have on the image of cyclin? People will think that if they take banned substances, it doesn’t matter.”

Seems kind of harsh but I am sure that there are a number of pros, clean and dirty, that want this issue to be swept away as quickly and as quietly as possible. So it’s a good thing that I am around to keep writing about it I guess.
