Between November and March you warm climate types would be best served avoiding Minnesota or, at most, not venturing out past the confines of the Mall of America. Should you happen to run into a real Minnesotan you might find yourself torn limb from limb.
If you do venture out into the natural environment of the average winter Minnesotan you should avoid making yourself conspicuous:
• Don’t smile or laugh in public
• Don’t show off your sun tan
• Don’t use a credit card to scrape your car windows
• Don’t complain about the cold when it is above 20°F
• Don’t ask “what do you people do all winter?”
• Don’t ask “where is the sun?”
Failure to heed these suggestions could result in a savage mauling.
