Conservatives keep stating that the only Democratic proposal for Iraq is “cut and run”, which is total BS.
But an important question to ask is what is the GOP policy on Iraq? “Stay the course” is clearly not working after almost 4 years and the GOP seems to be struggling with getting rid of this term and coming up with a new plan.
Iraq is a GOP mess. It’s not the Democrat responsibility to propose a fix to this GOP mess.

UPDATE 7:56pm: What I am trying to say is that the GOP should be judged on their job in Iraq to date, which has been pretty bad.

It would appear that just about everyone is going to be let off the hook.
No one is serious about drugs in cycling.

Wikipedia:
The status of the human embryo and human embryonic stem cell research is a controversial issue as, with the present state of technology, the creation of a human embryonic stem cell line requires the destruction of a human embryo. Stem cell debates have motivated and reinvigorated the ‘pro-life’ movement whose members have concerned themselves with the rights and status of the embryo as an early-aged human life. They believe that embryonic stem cell research instrumentalizes and violates the sanctity of life and constitutes murder. The fundamental assertion of those who oppose embryonic stem cell research is the belief that human life is inviolable, combined with the opinion that human life begins when a sperm cell fertilizes an egg cell to form a single cell.
Most stem cell researchers use embryos that were created but not used in in vitro fertility treatments to derive new stem cell lines. Most of these embryos are slated to be destroyed, or stored indefinitely. In the United States alone, there are at least 400,000 such embryos. This has lead some opponents of abortion rights, such as Senator Orrin Hatch, to support human embryonic stem cell research.
While the opposition argues that “the line at which an embryo becomes a human life remains as arbitrary as ever”, those in favor of embryonic stem cell research note that the zygote is a collection of eight undifferentiated cells. The medical community additionally counters the moral and ethical concerns by highlighting the promise of stem cell treatments for debilitating diseases that currently have no known cure.
Yea, so if you are against embryonic stem cell research you should also be against in virto fertilization. Good luck with that fight pal.
