Republicans talk about being for small government, limited spending and all that hoo-ha, but the reality is that they have busted the budget better than any Democrat could have ever done over the past 6 years.
Look at the U.S. economy. Seems to be kicking ass, no?
Maybe the GOP talking point that Bush’s tax cuts have been driving the economy is complete hog wash.
Maybe it’s big time federal government spending that has been driving the economy? If this is the case then the GOP is benefiting from the spending policy that used to be a hall mark of the Democrats. They just have not yet figured out how to pay for it yet.

CyclingNews.com:
Joe Papp, a former elite level professional who raced for the U.S. national team and in Europe, is desperate for help from anyone. He and his Cuban-national wife, Yuliet Rodriguez Jimenez, are trying to finally close the geopolitical distance between them after more than two years of marriage, but without much luck.
Jimenez, herself an elite cyclist with the Cuban national team, tried with Papp to pursue immigration for her through the proper diplomatic channels. However, due to the unique tension between the two countries, immigration visas are nearly impossible. “If the U.S. is going to maintain an embargo against Cuba and enforce travel restrictions against its own citizens, then the least that could be done is expedited processing of visa petitions made by U.S. citizens on behalf of their Cuban spouses,” Papp told the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.
What is the point of keeping Papp’s wife out of the United States?

Dirk DeWolf is now off the front of the race with his team mate Rudy Dhaenens. Despite the efforts of the favorites, these two Belgians go one and two in the race.
It would be a bitter sweet victory for Dhaenens as he would never again reach such heights as he did that day in Utsunomiya Japan. He retired from racing in 1992.
In 1998 Rudy Dhaenens died in a car accident on the way to serve as a race commenter for the Tour of Flanders. He was only 37 years old.
