It’s in the high 70’s today but it’s been pouring rain so no ride for me.
Plus I spent all last evening vomiting up the fabulous BBQ pork sandwich that Mrs. Smithers was kind enough to buy for me at the airport in Memphis.
Tomorrow looks to be a better day.
Meanwhile, a senior court official said a verdict against Saddam Hussein and seven co-defendants charged with crimes against humanity in connection with an anti-Shiite crackdown in the 1980s will be announced Nov. 5.
For those not keeping track, that’s two days before U.S. election day…what a coinkydink.
1. Going to the movies (pre-Baby Smithers) and hearing him open up his bag of Twizzlers just as the movie starts. I’m not talking about when the previews start, but just as the movie-you-have-paid-$8.50-to-see starts. He loves doing that.
2. Watching him throw those yogurt containers in with all the recycling each and every week, even though Minneapolis says time and again that they don’t recycle those yogurt containers.
3. Taking his money to cut his lawn when he is too lazy to do it. I love doing that.
4. Seeing him call almost every other rider on the road a spank and somehow avoiding that title myself.
5. Hanging out with Mrs. Smithers and Baby Smithers, and routinely getting attacked by Puppy Smithers!!
