E-Motion Rollers
Sunday, October 1st, 2006Having ridden rollers quite a bit during the off season, I can really appreciate the benefits of a product like this.
Unlike other roller systems, where the roller drums are locked on to the frame, the Inside Ride E-Motion roller drums float on the inside of the frame which allows for a more natural riding style. You can get out of the saddle and put in a full sprint effort without the worry of coming off the front of the rollers. It’s a really cool design, the only problem is that the set sells for $800. If you spend a lot of time inside riding it might be worth it.
I tested it out yesterday at the show.

Leaving Las Vegas
Sunday, October 1st, 2006I keep forgetting what a disaster McCarren airport is until I fly in and out of there.
When you arrive it takes 45 minutes to get your bag off the plane.
When you depart you can find yourself standing in line for over an hour to check in for your flight plus another hour shuffeling through security. It’s so absurd that you begin to wonder if the system is screwed up like this on purpose.
Never-the-less, the trade show went off with out a hitch which made it a bit boring this year. But I will take boring over being stranded in the desert with a broken down U-Haul.
Thank you all for making Mrs. Smithers feel welcome on the blog this week. We’ll be getting back to normal now. She will be back to making the fat cash as a highly paid corporate executive and I will be back to boring and angry political posts.
Maybe Fly Girl will be interested in guest blogging while we go on vacation in mid-October? What do you guys think of that?
