It’s so apparent to me why the Davitamon-Lotto team has not had much success so far this spring. The team obviously has no dignity.
I always hop on the scale after my morning ride just to see what happened since I got up. The scale read three numbers in succession that I have not seen in a number of years:
1
8
9
I evaporate a lot of water weight in perspiration riding the trainer in my basement but I was still amazed to see that I had broken the 190 pound barrier. 5 days to see how low I can go.
MPR’s Mike Edgerly rides and reads blogs. He reads my blog. At least he says he does. (Updated 1:51pm : He does…)
Mike should invite me into the studio for a hard hitting interview regarding cycling and racing in the Twin Cities. It would be some riviting radio for sure.
Banjo Brothers has a blog. You should read it every day. They don’t update it every day but you should just reread what you have already read if they have not updated it, you may have missed something the first time.
My prototype seat bag is still working without flaw. The only comment I have is that I would like to have had the velcro extended a bit more down the straps. As you can tell by the pictures, I really wail down on the straps to make sure it’s tight and I almost run out of velcro.
That’s not really a Banjo Brothers problem though. First off, they were kind enough to make this bag special for me and it’s not available in stores, so you won’t have this problem as you won’t get one of these bags. Secondly, I am a classic over tightener. My wife always complains that she can’t get the bottle top off after I put it back on. If there is a fragile bolt to be tightened, I will bust it off. I’m always breaking things that need a delicate touch. So the seat bag straps probably don’t need to be so damn tight…but I can’t help it.
